Earthy & Woody - A Woodland Walk - We love this scent as it reminds us of getting back to nature, having a ramble of a new 'undiscovered' part of Dartmoor or a muddy wood walk. It also evokes feelings of that first stove fire of the season and getting warm and cosy after being invigorated by getting out in the fresh air. It is a humbling 'real' smell which draws us back to our roots after being out in the hectic world, bringing clarity. It is perfect to burn while relaxing with a great book or while sipping a favourite drink in front of the fire. Or when focus and memory are needed, maybe when working, studying or revising. The pine essential oil is known for having a clarifying, uplifting and invigorating effect. It has been said that pine eases the mind of stresses and energises the body as well as promoting a positive outlook. Rosemary has been used for thousands of years to improve memory . It is also great at relieving stress and boosting mental activity. The cedarwood not only gives our scent that earthy, woody aroma but also soothes anxiety and stress. A small amount of patchouli offers a grounding, musky, warm and balancing quality to our blend. The woody, sweet, fresh scent of the juniper berry is responsible for giving gin its flavour. Whilst we can't guarantee the same effects with our candle, it still calms the nerves without the sedative qualities of some other essential oils, making it perfect to help keep you alert and focused.
